The University of Colorado Boulder (CU) has a new research institute–Renee Crown Wellness Institute. Committed to a collaborative approach to valuing, promoting, and protecting health and wellness for all children and youth. CU acquired this iconic, mid-century building off the main campus at 1135 Broadway to renovate for the Renee Crown Wellness Institute. The renovations included streetscape improvements, lounge and lobby areas, conference and wellness program spaces to support the institute along with lighting, mechanical and plumbing upgrades to improve and maximize the building’s energy
